National? International? Indifferent? How much self-sufficiency does Austria need? The pandemic brutally shows how vulnerable our economic cycle is: If no chips come from Asia, our factories stand still. We have shortages in the supply of face masks and medicines. Is it therefore time to rethink globalization? What do we necessarily have to keep in the country, what in the EU, and what can we confidently entrust to the world market?
