The government of Austria plans to introduce economic growth as one of the main objectives of the Austrian state and therefore it has announced a new law concerning the development of the industrial location Austria. With that it should be possible to realize projects in a shorter period of time. This brings up the exciting question if this is even possible in a state like Austria where federalism is strong and every initiative of the public gets great attention by media.
Ing. Norbert Hofer (Minister of transport, innovation and technology), Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Sabine Herlitschka, MBA (chief of board of Infineon Technologies Austria AG), Mag. Thomas Jost (chief of board of Waagner-Biro AG) and Dr. Michael Junghans (CEO of WIG Wietersdorfer Holding GmbH) followed the invitation and discussed the subject.
