Almost every 2nd Austrian lives in the eastern region. Around 44 percent of Austria's total value added is generated in the three federal provinces. In many ways they are closely interwoven in the fields of economy, labour, environment, health, transport and many more. In all three countries, new people rule after predecessors who knew each other well for decades. How the provincial governors Johanna Mikl-Leitner, Hans-Peter Doskozil and Michael Ludwig assess the current political situation and how they want to shape cooperation in the "economic engine of the eastern region" with their very personal new style, the participants discussed animatedly in front of a high-ranking audience at the UNIQUE talk in the Ringturm.
